OMGGG this was literally the worst experience ever. I went to get my eyebrows threaded and the second I sat on the chair, the lady immediately started talking trash about the place I usually go to. She was like “God bless those people, they don’t know how to do eyebrows” (which is crazy because they actually do an amazing job)
Then, completely out of nowhere, she tried to sell me a facial and goes, “I’m sorry but I have to tell you this, your pores are huge and extremely clogged.” I was honestly shocked. Because I know I could use a facial but I know my skin isn’t terrible because I get compliments on it all the time and I’m very consistent with my skincare.
I stayed quiet, trying to be polite, and she just kept going. She asked, “How long has this been happening?” and I was genuinely confused — like, what is “this”? And she goes, “The whole situation with your face. The pores. The different skin colors. All the redness.” Then she literally said, have you ever seen you face?”
I was like… excuse me??? Yes, I look at my face every single morning and there is absolutely nothing extreme going on. The audacity was insane, considering her own skin was far from flawless. Felt more like projection than professional advice.
Anyways, don’t go there unless you want to be criticized for literally everything about your face while they aggressively try to sell you services you didn’t ask for. And the funniest part is that after all that criticism, she didn’t even get the eyebrows right.

I had an amazing experience at Orchid by Huma. The ambiance was so amazing. I got my facial and highlights done and my hair feels so nice. The facial was so good my face is really glowing. I would recommend them for sure. I’ve never seen such a good desi salon in Houston before. Definitely my favourite 🤍🤍

I got my HydraFacial done from Huma at OrchidByHuma, and I’m honestly so impressed! My skin felt instantly clean, hydrated, and glowing, no redness or irritation at all. Huma was super gentle, explained every step, and made the whole experience so relaxing. It’s definitely one of the best facials I’ve had! Highly recommend
